Crackle Wizard | Gilga IV

I did a few Techno & UK Bass related leftfield tracks with my old flatmate Drumkid between 2007 and 2011. We called our project Crackle Wizard. Our record for Hidden Hawaiis offshoot Gilga is almost sold out in many places. We didn't expect this to happen. Thanks people out there.

"Beautifully reduced minimalist Techno & UK Bass related leftfield excursions" (Hard Wax)

"Drumkid and Felix K debuted their Crackle Wizard project way back in 2010, delivering a fine 12" of abstract techno and D&B experiments on the latter's Hidden Hawaii label. This surprise return contains five voyages into minimalist dancefloor pastures. They begin with the languid electronic melodies and crackly techno rhythms of "Hunger 4 More", before successfully breaking up the beats on the bass-heavy shuffle of "The Klap". There's more ghostly electronics, heavy sub and off-kilter rhythms to be found on "Broken Legit", before they head back to early morning techno territory on "Nobody". They round off another fine E.P with the cut-up dub craziness of "Sex Clips"." (Juno)

"ltd edition leftfield excursions on this hidden hawaii sublabel that venture into chain reaction/monolake/bass territory. alone deep in the mariana trench." (Bent Crayons)
